Restorative Yin with Jill

Leave the rushed, frenzied pace of life behind and step into a deeply relaxing practice that brings balance to the nervous system. The use of props will help students gently stretch and hold poses for longer periods of time while releasing tension from the mind and body. All levels are welcome.

Sound Healing with Trudy

We invite you to an evening of relaxing sound and vibration healing. Our bodies can become out of tune from experiencing stress and illness which can block the flow of energy in our chakras, our physical selves, and our aura field. During this restorative sound meditation, you will experience a short, gentle wind gong bath, followed by 30 minutes of singing bowl meditation. Experiencing the gong can help break up blockages caused by fear, emotions and stress. The Tibetan Singing Bowls then gently open energy centers and relax our bodies to help us shift our energy a from a lower to a higher frequency.

If you are curious about yoga, or have taken some time off, this 6 week workshop series will acquaint you – or reacquaint you - with the poses, the stories behind the poses, and the yoga way of life. Yoga is more than physical exercise; yoga is breath work, movement, and a state of mind that brings our mental, emotional, and physical selves into a calm, relaxed, and centered focus. We will take it slow, so you have time for questions and deep learning about the history of yoga. We will also explore the use of props to provide support for our poses, the purpose of each pose to reduce stress, encourage deeper and healthier breathing, create flexibility, and restore and energize your body while calming your mind. This is a great opportunity to build your yoga community in a safe and supportive environment.

Class will start with a gentle/restorative practice, moving into Yoga Nidra and closing with Savasana. Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation, can help to release stress and tension along with reducing anxiety. It can also help you sleep better and help individuals with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome.

Yin + Reiki with Jill & Trudy

Reset the mind, body and spirit with this energetically balancing experience with Jill and Trudy. Yin yoga is a passive practice, holding various seated and reclining poses for 3-5 minutes at a time. These extended hold times allow us to passively stretch the layers of deep connective tissue in the body. Holding the poses for longer periods of time also allows time for meditation within each pose. This Yin class is combined with Reiki, an Japanese energy healing technique involving the laying of hands to activate the natural life force within our bodies. This class will help you leave your stress and anxiety behind! 

Yoga & Meditation for Chakra Balance Workshop Series

When our energy centers, our chakras, are blocked, we may feel like we are out of sync with our lives. We invite you to join Nicole and Trudy on Monday evenings for a 6 week workshop series designed to balance your chakras. After exploring the question, “What is a chakra?” we will assess your chakras and help remove energy blocks using guided meditation, breath work, yoga, and crystals. Working from the root chakra to the crown, we will focus on one or two chakras each class, so you can learn techniques to help you keep your energy flowing between classes. This is an interactive class and we will have plenty of time for questions.
